| Sausage & Cabbage
Ingredients: 2 packs of Smoked Sausage 1 Cabbage 1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil Salt Garlic Powder
Slice sausage into bite sized pieces. Fry sausage in cooking oil in very large pot while cutting cabbage. Remove sausage into a bowl, keeping as much of the drippings in the pot as possible. Cook cabbage in the sausage drippings, adding more cabbage as it cooks down if needed. Keep stirring cabbage, adding salt & garlic powder to taste until cabbage is hot & somewhat “limp”. Pour water over sausage and pour sausage & water into pot. Add more water as needed (using bowl sausage was in to retain the drippings). Cook until cabbage is tender, adding more salt to taste. | |
